Everything Keys customers ask us about washing, waxing, ceramic coating, and scheduling — straight answers, no fluff.
Do you come to us, or do we come to you?
Both. We're a mobile service first — we come to your campground, resort, marina, home, or business anywhere from Key West to Key Largo. We also offer in-shop care at our Stock Island location for detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating.
How far out are you booked?
During high season, usually 1–2 days ahead. We work 7 days a week, though — call 305-501-8681 and we'll fit you in.
Do we need to be present while you wash or wax our RV?
No — go have fun and explore the Keys while we work. We just ask that you leave space in front of and behind the RV for our truck, water, and hoses, and move belongings 3–5 feet away from the sides so we can set up a ladder.
How long does an RV wash and wax take?
About 1–2 hours to wash and 1–2 hours to wax. Wax has to go onto a dry surface, so we typically schedule a few projects at the same resort: wash each RV first, then wax them in the same order.
Is the roof wash included in the price?
Yes — a regular roof wash is included. For roof protection we use Camco on rubber roofs and RVTech on fiberglass roofs.
What wax do you use, and is it hand or machine applied?
Mainly Meguiar's. We apply it with orbital buffers that stop under too much pressure — no cutting marks, no swirls. Under the Florida sun, wax typically lasts 2–3 months.
Do you do ceramic coating?
Yes. We apply Liquid Armour professional-grade ceramic coating — a certified 9H coating with a registered 5-year warranty when properly maintained. It's a one-time exterior application; we inspect it annually rather than reapplying every year.
We have ceramic coating on our RV. Do we still need to wash it?
Yes — we strongly recommend a wash after a long drive to remove grime, salt, and bugs, and before you head out to remove salt and bird droppings. Monthly or at least bi-monthly washing preserves and prolongs the coating's life.
Do you wash tires and rims?
Washing rims and tires is included in the price. Tire protectant is included with a wash & wax, and available as an add-on with a wash. We don't offer rim polishing.
Do you apply water repellent on the windows?
Yes — water-repellent application is included in the wash & wax price.
Can you remove minor scratches or help with faded, discolored parts?
Often, yes — paint correction is one of our specialties. Let us take a look and we'll tell you honestly what can be done.
How do you wash a house?
We apply a soapy cleaning solution to all walls with a foam cannon, agitate gently with soft brushes, and rinse with water — removing mold, spider webs, salt, and grime. It's a soft-wash approach that preserves your paint.
Do you clean windows and screens?
Yes. Before starting in the Keys, we'd been cleaning windows since 2006 in one of the dirtiest places in the USA — New York City.
Do you do cars and trucks as well?
Absolutely — cars, trucks, and bikes along with RVs. Summer heat and salt air are brutal on paint down here; regular detailing is the best protection. If your car isn't on a maintenance plan, we recommend a full detail every 3–4 months.
Do you do boats?
Yes, we do. We'll stop by to estimate the scope of work first.
What types of payment do you accept?
Debit and credit cards (+3% processing), Zelle, personal checks, and cash.
